ROTHAY MANOR LAUNCHES THE PAVILLION, 8 LUXURY SUITES

Ambleside’s boutique hotel, Rothay Manor has revealed eight new luxury suites in ‘The Pavillion’ - set within the grounds of the beautiful Lake District hotel.
Designed by Ben Cunliffe Architects with interiors by Dynargh Design, the new bedrooms are big, luxurious private spaces (upwards of 35m2) – intended as a sanctuary for guests, offering rural seclusion that’s complemented by the services and amenities of the hotel.
Inspired by the Manor’s picturesque location in the Lakes, the design of The Pavilion deliberately brings a sense of the outdoors in – using a soft, country-inspired, colour palette peppered with opulent fabrics, sumptuous furnishings, and luxury amenities.
Four suites have their own private gardens, one of which also has its own hot tub, another is accessible and four are dog friendly. Each is equipped with luxurious touches - expect comfortable super-king beds, baths and separate showers, double sinks – and all the usual mod-cons and amenities guests would expect from a premium hotel room.
With endless adventures accessible from the doorstep, guests of Rothay Manor can make the most of outdoor pursuits – from hiking to foraging, discover the lakes, forest, and fells – before returning to the 4 Silver Star Hotel for a decadent dining experience in the 3 AA Rosette restaurant, led by head Chef Dan McGeorge (who was named the Champion of Champions of the 2021 series of the BBC Great British Menu).
Having completed a milestone first phase £1.25m renovation, reimaging the 15 bedrooms in the main house, introducing a new boot room and indoor luxury dog wash, in 2020 – co-owners, and husband and wife duo, Jenna and Jamie Shail are excited to reveal The Pavilion, as the final stage to be complete the extensive renovations – which have been five years in the making.
